Shri Hari Shankar Verma, had received Hon’ble Minister of Railways’ Award two times and many awards at the GM level. Shri Verma got training on Management from Singapore, Malaysia & Italy & he is well-known as a specialist in Railway Traffic and Management.

Under his efficient leadership, in the year 2022-23, South Western Railway, Hubli established a special record of operations, which is the best till date. He has completed all the tasks assigned by the Railway Board and achieved the highest Freight loading and earned the highest revenue. He had launched quite a few passenger trains during his tenure in Karnataka; these were very popular among the people.
